Ikea

I love Ikea! every time I go I buy so much stuff. Well I don’t pay for it, my mum and dad do. I needed to buy some stuff for my room because a lot of the stuff that was in there had been there for years. It was all old, tatty and babyish. So it was nice to buy some furniture I actually wanted. It looks really nice in my room so I took some pictures:

Here is a new desk, chair and cushion I bought. My telly looks so old! I don’t mind it though. I’m not desperate for a new one.

And here is a bed side table and lamp I bought. As you can see I have a lot of teddies in my room!

Back Early

Very early! I suck at taking breaks. I guess I was having withdrawal systems. That’s sad right?

Well I got bored of not updating my site and I just kept coming on to see how things are going. I did do some revision and got some coursework done so it wasn’t a wasted break. I have quite a bit of homework this weekend which I need to do. School work is just never ending! It will be worse next year.

I have been trying to validate the XHTML coding on my site. I never realised how bad it was until I saw my site in Internet Explorer and saw how messed up it looked so I knew I had to do something. I never thought it was because of my coding, I just thought it was the browser. Anyway I stuck my site into a validator and i had 179 errors! I thought my coding was alright! I got fustrated with validating it but eventually I got the homepage down to 0 errors. Now I have to do the rest of the pages. I hope it doesn’t take too long. Sorry if anything looks a bit weird.

Now I have learned about coding and where I have made errors I would like to add tutorials to help you guys with your sites. I will have to change some of the codes on the HTML pages because they are incorrect and I don’t want you to use dodgy codes that aren’t valid.

Taking a break

I don’t want to call it hiatus. Let’s just call it study leave or something like that. I just need a break from my web site and start revision for the summer exams. Yes, I know it’s early but I want to be prepared. I will return next Wednesday and then it will be half term so I can work on my site again. I don’t want to become so involved with my site that I have no time to study or have no time to spend with Tyrone and my friends. I just need a bit of a break.
